Daffodils Help Paint the Town Yellow

lowDSC_0182Winchester Growers were proud to donate 12,000 bunches of daffodils to the Falmouth Spring Festival which was held on the 13th of Cornwall, a region in the far South West of the UK.

‘Paint The Town Yellow Day’ was part of the Festival where school children and students from the town helped distribute daffodils to local businesses, who in turn then gave the locally grown, vibrant blooms to their customers.

The event was a great success helping bring spring colour and sunshine to the local community.

The Spring Festival was an event organised by The Falmouth Business Improvement District (BID) – a not-for-profit company responsible for delivering a number of innovative projects that aim to improve the trading environment of the town. The Falmouth BID is made up of over 400 local companies.
